However, as a former Postal employee, I must remind you that it is still illegal for anyone other than a USPS letter carrier to place anything in a mailbox. Personally, I don’t agree with this law. However, the result of marketing on your own in this manner is often that upon finding unaurhorized material in the mail box the carrier will yank said materials out, often dumping them on the ground. Ouch. Sad but true.
